1. Check B/L, update seal no. and release bill to Port State Agent on schedule.
2. Monitor and ensure the B/L data in MSC Link system is updated timely & accurately
3. Monitor and follow up with necessary verifications and amendments as per shipper and/or other related party’s request
4. Monitor DTX file submission on time, transmit ACP and T/S cargo file to proper agencies, telex release to the right party, issuance and transmitting of EMC and subsequent documents to the related parties
5. Ensure efficient & effective cooperation with the Port State Agent on B/L issuance and other related cases
6. Co-ordinate with Principal, overseas agents and other departments on basic EMC such as freight M/C, cargo M/C, roll-over, short-ship etc.
7. Reply to customers/related parties’ queries on outbound documentation issues
8. Ensure the documentation instructions from Principal and other ports’ agents are duly understood; clearly communicate the instructions with related staff for follow-up actions
9. Monitor the requirements of local port authorities and make sure to meet the local statutory requirements
10. Carry out all relevant duties as outlined in the Company procedures and policies
11. Perform any other job duties assigned by immediate supervisor and management
Required Competency (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities)
1. Good computer skills in MS Office applications;
2. Good coordination skills;
3. Good English in reading and writing, CET4 is preferable
4. College graduate, major in related is preferable
