The SHE Coordinator is responsible for Safety, Health, and Environment related work and activities. To Coordinate with central SHE and support implementation of relevant training/policy/procedure and activities etc. in TCO organization. The main focus of their work is to develop people’s SHE knowledge and mindset, identify and eliminate SHE risks and drive the organization to continuous improvements, coordinate internal and external resources to create SHE roadmap and implement different activities to achieve the target.
1. Corporate SHE policy implementation : Implement the central SHE policy and regulation in TCO department and coordinate with central SHE team with related work, procedure and policy and activities spread in TCO organization .
2. SHE Training: Participate in developing the department's SHE training plan and organize and conduct SHE training sessions, covering orientation training and daily training topics like office safety, operation safety, ergonomics, travel safety, and emergency procedures etc.
3. Hazard Identification: Organize the identification of hazards and risks within the department. Develop and implement control measures to mitigate these hazards. Also be responsible for establishing and deploying risk identification map by coordinating with related people (Process engineer, production, central SHE team, and manager etc. ) Safety management of special equipment and special operation related to logistics business.
4. SHE Inspections: Conduct regular SHE inspections within the department's area to identify and eliminate safety hazards, Take immediate action to stop and correct unsafe behaviors within the department.
5. Emergency Plans: Organize the development of emergency plans specific to the department and ensure they are equipped with the necessary emergency supplies.
6. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Be responsible for application, providing, distributing, and managing personal protective equipment for department personnel to ensure they have the necessary gear for their tasks. Cost management related to PPE.
7. Emergency Incidents: Participate in handling emergency incidents within the department, coordinating response efforts to minimize risks and damages.
8. Safety Management of Visitor/Suppliers: Ensure the safety awareness of external visitors or suppliers by providing them with safety information and informing them of safety matters relevant to the department.
9. Support Logistics sustainability related work such as set up the roadmap and follow up the implementation of activities.
10. Else: other daily working items assigned by the leader basing on business requirements..
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor degree or above
More than 5 years experience in a multinational and manufacturing company
SHE related working background, focus on Safety/Heath
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for conveying safety information and coordinating SHE activities within the department.
2. SHE Training Skills: Ability to design and deliver effective SHE training programs to department personnel.
3. SHE Management Tools: Knowledge of SHE management processes and tools, including Behavior-Based Safety (BBS), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA), to effectively manage safety risks.
4. Software Skills:
- Proficiency in office software tools for documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.
- English speaking ability is required.
- Familiar with local legislation and regulation related to safety , health and environment is preferred.
5. Enthusiasm and Responsibility: A strong sense of enthusiasm for the role and a high level of responsibility for ensuring the safety and well-being of department personnel.
