Job description:
1. Management of Semi-Active Development team.
2. Intelligent (electronical controlled) shock absorber design and development
3. Support Business development in China for all semiactive opportunity
4. Support & participate semi-active shock absorber RFQs
5. Customer requirement analysis
6. Project activities monitoring
7. Problem tracking and risk analysis support
8. Tuning on vehicle of Electronic Shock Absorbers
9. Deliverables management
10. EOL and production launch support
The Engineering Manager acts as the leader of Semi-active development team. The semi-active development team analyses and assesses the customer’s technical specifications and acts as *** point contact to the customer. The semi-active development team shall be able to pursue all the activity needed acting as technical project leader, from Customer request for quotation through the entire development cycle; ensuring availability of the proper preparation for the various deliverables (CAD models 3D / 2D, Virtual validation reports, testing outcome, prototype delivery, software releases and all supporting process and methods).
During on vehicle customer activity, the semi-active development team shall follow the ECU integration in the vehicle electronic environment, perform electronic shock absorbers tuning activities on the test track with the customer, and test the ECU Diagnostic on vehicle.
Requirements:
61 At least 2 or 3 years working experience in semi-active shock absorber development.
61 Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronic / Mechatronic / Automotive Engineering
61 Good knowledge regarding hydraulics and mechanics.
61 Fluency in English
61 Previous experience as application engineer

61 Automotive Development lifecycle & standards
61 Mechatronic System & basic automotive control theories
61 Automotive product design & testing standards with focus on Shock Absorbers
61 MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
61 Knowledge on Amesim, Mathcad, Simulink
61 CANalyzer / CANoe / CAN dbc / OBD/ Candela Studio (or similar)
61 CANape or other calibration tools
61 Modelling (CATIA, UG) and CAE tools
