The company CMP Importer French multi-products (toys, lighting, decoration, kitchen items ...) is currently looking for Merchandiser in our office in Ningbo (Close to Moon lake, Zhejiang Province - China).
Position: Merchandiser
As a merchandiser, your daily work consists in following the supplies and the suppliers in a proactive way to ensure a good quality on time. You will have in charge to check and ensure the PO milestones achievements. The key of the success is to detect issues before it happens and to be able to coordinate actions to fix them in order to master the chain.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support and lead the product development process in collaboration with the France buying team.
* Place orders based on CMP France's procurement plan.
* Monitor ongoing orders and productions until cargo shipment.
Daily Tasks:
* Negotiate prices and lead times with suppliers.
* Manage requests for quotations and tenders with suppliers, providing clear overviews to the French buyers.
* Coordinate the sampling process between suppliers and buyers/customers.
* Sign and upload purchase invoices in the IT system.
* Follow up on PPS (pre-production samples), shipping samples, and testing sample status, and keep relevant parties informed.
* Check order status with suppliers via email and phone, identify problems, and find solutions.
* Collect information to analyze and resolve potential delays.
* Follow up on inspections and rework processes.
* Coordinate internal and external resources to prevent delays and ensure quality.
* Monitor suppliers and report issues to the BSC Manager.
* Guide and assist suppliers in meeting CMP requirements.

* Detail-oriented with a strategic vision, understanding how teamwork
impacts results.
* Proficient in both oral and written English.
* Quick learner with a willingness to acquire new skills.
* Honest, responsible, and hardworking, especially during busy seasons.
* Minimum of 0 year of work experience.
Working Hours:
5 days per week. National holidays plus 5 days of annual leave ( after graduated from the university), in accordance with Chinese law.
