We are seeking a talented and motivated engineering intern to join our team at Maersk’s Beijing office in Shuangjing. You will be working on the techno-economic modeling of Power-to-X (P2X) projects, helping optimize the design of systems for these innovative technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly growing P2X sector, contributing to solutions that convert renewable energy into useful forms like hydrogen, methanol, ammonia, and other sustainable fuels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use PtX.Wizard to implement techno-economic models for Power-to-X projects.
- Analyze data and optimize system designs to improve project performance and cost-efficiency.
- Work closely with engineering and project management teams to refine assumptions and input data.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and optimization results.
- Support the development of long-term strategies for P2X system implementation.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience with R programming for data analysis and modeling.
- Understanding of techno-economic modeling principles, especially in energy and renewable sectors.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin (mandatory).
- Strong communication skills in English for reports and internal communication.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Power-to-X technologies or renewable energy systems is a plus.
Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering or Data Science.
