Tasks:
- Support global initiatives and market research requests – identify potential suppliers, coordinate queries from internal stakeholders with external suppliers,
- Market Intelligence- Investigate and track EL potential competitors, and update respective suppliers’ status, e.g. financial, credit reliability, business trend etc
- Provide organizational, operational and administrative support for sourcing activities within China
- Support supplier management activities such as negotiations and contracting, supplier qualification, accompany supplier audits, conduct supplier business reviews and evaluations
- Follow-up local market and EHS developments, leverage knowledge and share it with the global team
- Coordinate detailed domestic travel arrangements
- Data and reporting
- Financial benchmarking for Display business in regular base
- Support Team Lead to manage other reporting activities per need
Requirements:
- University degree. Chemical background would be preferred
- Proactive and customer-oriented
- Analytical, problem solving and structured thinking skills
- High sense of data and good at analytics/reporting
- Ability to organize time efficiently by prioritizing work and concentrating on key tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Experience with MS Office
- Professional communication skills to interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Team player experience to work in global teams
- Fluent English is required
- Experience on Semi-conductor or Display/ Fine-chemical industry would be a plus
- Travel requirement: 10% of time
