Digital Business Services (DBS)
HSBC Digital Business Services is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. We combine global expertise and technology to help keep us thriving in the competition.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
1) Bank staff access card and temporary access card configuration work.
2) Access control system maintenance work in security control room.
3) Monthly access authorization reconfirmation for bank restricted area.
4) Manage outsourcing vendor service staff to support surveillance work.
5) Assistant work for ATM blossom project.
6) Cooperate maintenance of security in local branches and sub-branches.
7) Communicate with local police in Shanghai for security issues.
8) Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- University (BA) or (BS) or above;
- Good communication skill and writing skill in Chinese and English;
- Ability to prioritize and work under time pressure;
- Possessing a strong compliance mind-set;
- Good relationship management and communication skills
- Capable of developing rapport with internal and external stakeholders (Gong An and regulators);
- Capable of taking initiative and working independently to complete assigned tasks;
- Capable of managing security vendor staff;
- Demonstrable relevant working experience an advantage;
- Certified security professional accreditation an advantage;

HSBC China employs around 7,000 staff, around 99 per cent of whom were recruited locally. It has a branch network of around 140 outlets across more than 50 cities. This is the largest service network covering the widest geographical reach by any foreign bank in mainland China.
HSBC’s knowledge of mainland China and its international operations enable it to provide customers with a wide range of financial and banking services, including wealth and personal banking, commercial banking, and global banking and markets.
