Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job：
The R&D centre for Home care in Shanghai is responsible for product & process Develop and deploy for Unilever Home Care business of North Asia region.
This individual will/may be responsible for process development for home care product (such as Capsule, Beads, Fabric enhancer and etc, may need adjust based on business requirements) for North Asia region. He will support both global & regional innovation/renovation/value improvement projects, along with miscellaneous product deployment tasks for Home Care business, North Asia.
Main Accountabilities：
Key accountabilities are:
61 Mainly support & lead process development tasks in Capsule, Beads, Fabric enhancer, Powder and Bar processing development, including but not limited to new processing design, VIP and shape design; (70%)
61 Support the 3P development and inhouse SCS (30%)
Detailed below:
A) Executing routine process development tasks:
61 Manage processing development roadmap and seek opportunities on the innovation/format to business team for growth. Manage stakeholders on product launching and risk management;
61 Design the processing route and lead pilot scale up work/MPT and Pilot optimization, have the scaling-up experience & knowledge;
61 Good team player and can smoothly working and communication with cross functions, such as formulation team, planning, plant technical & operation, CP, buying and etc;
61 Good timeline management and logic sense; creative in processing design with initiatives;
61 Design/lead MPT in plant/3P, support/lead the process development based on specific plant condition and facility limitations, coordinate with muti-catergories on pushing it happen, e.g SUIT, operation, buying, planning,3PM and PGQ;
61 Lead safety related evaluation/optimization, e.g enzyme & flammable materials and etc, SHE sense needed, may both in-house and 3Ps;
61 Design processing routes based on the formulation design, concept delivery and real facility conditions, ability to balance conditions of standard design/requirement vs real plant conditions;
61 Machine/Equipment knowledge preferred to aid processing design, such as valves, flange, pumps, material texture, heating/cooling facility and etc, have the sense of material balance, heat balance and etc;
61 Value creation through smart process design;
61 Monitor production quality via co-working with PGQ/SUIT and on-site support, Post launch review(Quality and production);
61 be sensitive to the market trend and competitor move, and give proposal on processing solutions;
61 Manage new product specification with specification with MET team
61 Assess and analyse product appraisal/storage etc. data, PPT/MPT Sample;
61 Use LIMS/PLM to set up and manage RM inventory/Sampling/Formulation/Processing/Product Stability database.
B) Support the 3P development and inhouse SCS:
61 Manage 3P and support part of the flash/aigle project, validate and manage the risk before mass production, give solutions to project team;
61 Work together with 3PM/PGQ/buying team on the 3P sourcing and screening, get the qualified 3P with endorsement to support business;
61 Eusure quality delivery during innovation/ VIP project
61 Provide technical expertise to support supply chain trouble shooting

Key Skills：
61 Master Degree in Chemical Sciences/Engineering/application;
61 Ability to manage and coordinate multiple Processing design tasks
61 Good team player. Can seamlessly manage multiple interfaces in projects
61 Good communicator in English with logic;
61 Have the influencing ability to persuade stake holders;
Relevant Experience：
1. Related experience on process development or manufacturing experiences; FMCG industry background is welcomed.
2. Rich experience on RMs and safety is preferred;
3. Machine/Equipment knowledge preferred to aid processing design, such as valves, flange, pumps, material texture, heating/cooling facility and etc, have the sense of material balance, heat balance and etc;
4. Love processing design, Creative thinking and strong initiation;
