Key Activities and Responsibility
61 Logistics Operation (60%)
1) Receive PO and tracking status (incl. quantity adjustment, delivery date change, etc..)
2) Coordinate with R/M suppliers on the transportation planning, pick up and schedule for the most economical shipping mode
3) Responsible for Int’l freight booking (Air/Ocean/SP/Rail, etc..) and D/D delivery
4) Chief liaison with internal stakeholders (incl. Vendor scheduler/site expeditor, ISC leaders, Warehouse responsible, etc.) to ensure all exceptions can be identified or properly escalated with tangible solution and in line with HOS.
5) Provide consistent report on daily shipment status and communicate with relative parties on the potential risks
6) Closely monitor the premium freight per AOP PF planning and negotiate with carriers on the ad-hoc PF request.
7) Maintain LMS (Logistics management system) on daily basis and support the development/.or. Upgrade of the LMS and potential TMS system for HTT.
8) Billing check and payment application.
9) Domestics trucking (incl. Milk-run) schedule planning and coordination with 3PL.
61 Data analysis, Planning & Reporting (20%)
1) Deal with exceptional reports (incl. Delay, Wrong pick up, Damage, Document issues, etc.) and potential claim negotiation and CAP follow up.
2) Perform QBR with strategic forwarders and manage 3PL KPI
3) Tracking carrier T/T and service level 4) Logistics cost analysis on regular basis and conduct special project
5) Monitor New lane request align with Corp process and provide quotation for NPI support
6) Finance support during month closure and provide site level freight forecast
7) Any Ad hoc requests as assigned by APAC logistics operation manager
61 Projects Support, Follow Ups & Compliance (20%)
1) Identify logistics OPEX/MATEX saving projects/initiatives per site and consolidation opportunities for the APAC region.
2) Prepare and validate data for project analysis and implementation
3) Sourcing support
4) Timely execute the projects in a way of six sigma.
5) Support internal and external audit (Incl. Finance, Compliance, Quality, HSE, Corp logistics, etc.) to drive HOS Gold.
Qualification
61 Education and experience
A Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 1 years of experience in logistics and preferable having working experience from Global forwarding companies and automotive industry.
Knowledge and skills
1) The candidate must have good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills both in local language and in English
2) Prior experience working on Logistics and Transportation field such as carriers, freight forwarders is desirable as this role will involve extensive knowledge of logistics.
3) The candidate should be well versed with Microsoft Products like Excel, Word and Outlook.
