All about the role:
o Responsible to test and maintain HW for the electronic platform of the relevant subsystem
o Support the electronic design engineering staff with various tasks to deliver electronic solutions to cooking appliances in production.
What you’ll do:
o Definition and execution of HW test plan on electronic boards and components
o Understanding of IEC 60335 and 60730 standard for home appliance and execution related test.
o Use the needed software and hardware tools to test electronics on the bench and inside the appliance
o Build, test, analyze, and troubleshoot prototype electronic circuits, parts (including electronic controls), and appliances to research and develop product features/functions.
o Assembly of electronic boards, SMD and TH components and test on the bench
o Understanding of electronic documentation: schematic, PCB layout, Bill of Material
o Coordinate/conduct performance, design verification, validation, agency, and life and reliability testing based on written specifications.
o Record and maintain accurate test data records and write extremely detailed test reports and procedures when required within scope of work.
o Comprehend detailed engineering documentation including block diagrams, schematics, fabrication and assembly drawings, component drawings, specifications, manuals and other customer documentation, development and test procedures.
o Exhibits appropriate professional behavior including positive attitude, sense of urgency, independent judgment, teamwork, creative thinking and personal integrity to achieve department/corporate goals and objectives.
Who you are:
o Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes.
o Use of electronic measurement tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, …)
o English competency both written and oral.
o Degree at Electrical/Electronics Engineering (E/E, EET, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics with heavy EE Content, etc.)
