KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
61 Learning the teaching programme of Chinese, actively participating in teaching
activities; providing support in class; assisting the Chinese teachers in recording the
students’ learning progress; assisting the Chinese teachers in preparing lesson
plans and teaching materials; building a good relationship with the students.
61 Assisting teachers in school events.
61 Maintenance of all Chinese teaching resources in the storage room.
61 Assisting the Head of Chinese in procurement.
61 Organising stock and materials.
61 Translating articles about Chinese department events.
61 Assisting in preparing Chinese trips.
61 Taking over Chinese class when teachers are absent.
61 Attending meetings as requested by academic leaders and principals.
61 Other assigned work as requested by the Head of Chinese.
BASIC QUALIFICATION
61 Education: Bachelor’s degree.
61 Major: Chinese language and literature, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign
Language
61 Language: Native Chinese speaker and fluent in English, minimum CET-6.
61 Teaching qualification Certificate for Junior High or High school
61 Support Wellington Value.
EXPERTISE
61 Outstanding communication in English and Chinese.
61 Formidable knowledge in Chinese Literature.
61 Familiar with Office software.
PREFERRED APTITUDES
61 International and bilingual school working experience is preferred.
61 Cross-cultural working experience is preferred.
