Roles & Responsibilities:
61Plan and deliver marketing projects for the career center across domestic and international markets;
61Coordinate content, edit copy, and support the design and production of advertising materials, websites, presentations etc. for stakeholders about Careers issues such as prospective students and staff, and potential industry and university partners;
61Good writing skills and translation of documents and newsletter;
61Coordinate with colleagues on career events, workshops and other related organizations;
61Responsible for the Entrepreneur Education and Entrepreneur Park;
61To provide consultation services, as requested, to students, faculty, and staff within the university;
61Provide services and online resources to enhance students’ employability;
61Assist to build up and develop career network and platform;
61Deliver information session to students to facilitate the graduation process;
61To deliver External mentor program;
61To guide students’ career clubs and provide suggestion to club leaders;
61To gain an understanding of the employability service, concepts of careers skills development learning and best practice in employer engagement;
61Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably.
Qualifications:
61Master degree with relevant working experience;
61Major in Education, Marketing, Management, HR, Data Analysis and Information System would be preferred;
61Having oversea study or working experience is a plus;
61XJTLU alumnus is a plus.
Required Competencies and Skills:
61Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese, being able to provide counseling service in English;
61Highly proficient IT skills: MS Office (Word, Excel and Access), Outlook and PowerPoint;
61Ability to write reports, and maintain detailed records and conduct engaging presentations;
61Ability of posters and promotional materials design is a plus.
61Ability to work independently and function competently in a team environment.
61Well-developed interpersonal, networking, negotiation,communication and flexible problem-solving skills;
61Time management, ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time, can work under heavy pressure;
61Marketing, publicity, and event planning abilities;
61Creative thinking and idea;
61Accept to work overtime at night or on weekends during busy work cycles.
