Job Overview:
The Academic Program Officer for IJAI shall be based in International Joint Audit Institute, Nanjing Audit University (hereinafter referred to as “International Joint Audit Institute”), working in collaboration with SKEMA and NAU staff mainly for Joint master program coordination, admin and admission support, budget management, international development communication, as well as manage all the documentation and student enrollment/program /teaching information in SKEMA academic system and ensure the data accuracy.
Background of IJAI:
The International Joint Audit Institute is jointly established by SKEMA Business School and Nanjing Audit University and approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, started to recruit its *** batch of students in Mainland China through Gaokao (college entrance examination in China) in July 2020, meaning that the development of SKEMA in China has ushered in a new stage. This four-year full-time undergraduate institute has four tracks: Finance Engineering Auditing, Engineering Management Auditing, Information Management and Information Technology Auditing, Internal Auditing. In May 2023, the Joint Master program has been approved by Ministry of Education with 3 tracks: Auditing, Finance, Computer science & Technology.
1, Academic program coordination
- Organize course presentation for new professors or new courses, collect feedback and follow up modification of syllabus, check the format of the syllabus and make sure it meets the requirement of both sides, and remind professors to put all teaching related information on the platform
- Make smart scheduling of their programs in accordance with NAU and SKEMA rules, input into both academic systems and follow the schedule changes during the semester
- Apply for both NAU and SKEMA account for external professors, prepare and sign teaching contract with them, apply for payment to external professors according to procedures laid down by SKEMA Finance department.
- Share information timely with students and professors, including but not limited to collecting Office Hour info from professors and announcing to students, Providing necessary information such as faculty guidebook, NAU platform, etc.. to professors for preparing courses, provide training to professors to explain SKEMA and NAU academic rules.
- Form different student group/lists for the semester, and share list with professors
- Sit in class when needed, feedback teaching quality, follow absences of students during the semester
- Organize and attend meetings among faculties such as Coffee chat, or with students regarding Assurance of Learning. Collect periodic feedback from students and convey to professors for development.
- Organize student representative meetings per semester and do follow-up
- Coordinate with SE HQ for meetings, committee or juries of the year.
- Check the format of mid-term and final exam paper, to meet the requirements of both sides. Organization exams, form exam schedule, arrange the invigilation and classroom, and invigilate exams.
- Manage and follow the graduation jury and issue diploma
- Communicate with both sides the new requirements if it has
2, Documentation and information management
- Admission support in students enrollment in SKEMA system, including communicating with students for the required documents and updating information in SKEMA system.
- Academic program support including collecting, inputting and managing all the teaching and learning information, Input the mid-term and final score for each course by matching both NAU and SKEMA system.
- Maintain the database in SKEMA academic system for all SKEMA professors including permanent and adjunct professors dedicated for the IJAI.
3, Admin support and other activities
- Help on visa application and the logistic booking for flying professors.
- Help professors familiar with campus facilities, book accommodations and make payment directly to partner hotels
- Provide interpretation in meeting or conference for both sides, and take meeting notes as needed
- Budget control and expenses follow-up for the joint master program
- Support other programs as needed
- Support in the activities such as school open, student recruitment and admission affairs, etc.
- Support in academic related activities by the government
Qualifications:
- 2 years + in academic coordination working experience in higher education, preferably in international organization, understand well both local and international culture
- Bachelor degree or above, overseas education or experience is preferable
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese, being able to work as interpreter during Sino-French meeting. Knowledge in French is preferable.

- Good problem solver and able to deal with conflicts arise from different culture, mindset and policy
- Good Project management knowledge and experience to meet deadlines, achieve goals, and balance multiple priorities
