Job Title: Intern-Customer Application Engineering Lab
About Our Group:
As part of Seagate's Customer Success organization, the China C3 (China Cloud Computing) Lab focuses on customer application engineering (CAE), supporting Chinese customers with new product and technology qualifications, technical support, issue resolution, and collaborative projects.
Our team - Hangzhou CAE lab under C3 Lab specializes in applications such as VIA (Video Image Application), NAS, and channel customer support. The team is composed of talented and experienced engineers working on cutting-edge storage products, including high-capacity HDDs exceeding 30TB, powered by Seagate's industry-leading HAMR technology. This critical work ensures customer success by enabling faster time-to-market, providing technical solutions, and supporting technology deployment.
About the Role – You Will:
1. Conduct and support joint qualifications, collaborative projects, issue-troubleshooting, and solution investigations for storage products.
2. Analyze, study, and optimize customer applications, such as VIA AI applications and NAS storage applications.
3. Analyze, adapt and improve HDD product performance, reliability, and compatibility under different kinds of use scenarios.
4. Learn to address different kinds of issues, such as in-system performance, vibration, acoustics, and power, during product qualification, while providing technical support to cross-functional teams.
About You:
1. Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic and Information Engineering, Computer Science, or other related science and engineering fields.
2. A quick learner with excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to share knowledge.
3. Strong communication skills with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
4. Good at both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
5. Enthusiastic, self-disciplined, and innovative with strong logical thinking skills.
6. Expertise in storage device performance, mechanical systems, or interface protocol domains.
7. Dedication to ensuring consistent results through adequate time investment.
Your Experience Includes:
1. Familiarity with data storage devices (e.g., HDD/SSD), components, systems, and applications.
2. Technical development or testing experience in the storage industry, such as firmware, Linux drivers, file systems, operating systems, or electronics/mechanical engineering.
3. Programming skills with Python / C / Linux Shell and or other code languages/environment
4. Familiarity with SATA, SAS, or PCIe specifications or applications is a big plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
5. Extensive knowledge of AI in data analysis, VIA/NAS applications, and device/system health predictions.
6. In-depth experience with HDD/SSD testing processes, firmware, quality/reliability testing, or new product introduction and qualification.
7. Good understanding of Linux filesystems and the Linux I/O stack.

4. 在产品认证周期内，学习解决系统性能、振动、噪声、功耗等关键技术问题，并为跨职能团队提供支持
任职要求：
1. 电子与信息工程、计算机科学或相关理工专业本科及以上
2. 学习能力强，具备优秀的团队协作精神与知识分享意愿

4. 中英文书面及口语表达流畅

技能经验：
1. 熟悉数据存储设备（HDD/SSD）、组件、系统及应用场景
2. 具备存储行业技术开发/测试经验（如固件、Linux驱动、文件系统、操作系统、电子/机械工程）
3. 掌握Python/C/Linux Shell等编程语言及开发环境
4. 熟悉SATA/SAS/PCIe协议规范者优先
附加优先项：
1. 具备AI数据分析、VIA/NAS应用、设备/系统健康预测的深度知识
2. 拥有HDD/SSD测试流程、固件开发、质量可靠性测试或新品导入认证经验
3. 深入理解Linux文件系统及I/O栈架构
