2. Be willing to step outside the comfort zone (if any), and adopt innovative approaches;
3. Be confident about the future of the translation profession amid Gen AI, as long as you join us in making DeepSeek and/or ChatGPT your “aide” in producing truly marketable translation;
4. Be ready to be an “apprentice” in the face of Gen AI, with a firm conviction that humans must play a dominant role in MTHE.
5. Be flexible, if need be, in your working hours, as some of our key clients are in a different time zone;
6. Be attentive to details (yes, because small details make big differences) and be a cooperative team player;
7. Be ready to accept a lower starting salary for the f_irst six months, as your remuneration will be adjusted only after you demonstrate proficiency in working seamlessly with Gen AI through on-the-job training and probably some practice after work – no offence – to make up your shortfall in English during your secondary and tertiary education.
