Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide care and support to boarders at key times in the week when they are in the boarding house.
住校学生关顾与支持。
2. Promote the welfare of the students and to be a point of contact for them during set working times.
以学生的利益为中心，作为固定工作时间的联系人。
3. Get to know the students, taking an interest in them as individuals.
了解学生，关顾学生个体。
4. Provide support, guidance and a ‘listening ear’ to the students.
提供支持和指导，并给予倾听。
5. Have a strong interest in the well-being of the students, their daily routines and general schoolwork organisation.
照顾学生日常起居，组织完成学校作业
6. Keep a close eye on their personal organisation and hygiene, encouraging them to keep their bedrooms and living areas clean and tidy.
关注学生卫生，鼓励养成整洁的起居生活习惯。
7. Provide emotional support when they may be sad, stressed or feel pressure at key times of the year, reporting these findings to the Housemaster/Housemistress and/or Medical staff, as appropriate.
在关键时给予情感支持，必要时向寄宿领导或医务人员汇报。
8. Liaise on all matters pertaining to the role.
负责联络协调工作。
9. Inspect and grade student rooms on a weekly basis.
检查学生宿舍，并每周给予评分。
10.Accompany students to hospital during the evenings/night when the medical centre is closed (infrequent).
负责联络协调工作。当晚上出现医疗室关闭特殊情况时，陪伴学生前往医院。
11.Manage external boarding facilities security.
管理外部设施安全。
12.Undertake any reasonable request made by the line manager that ensures consistent delivery of service in the School.

Skills and Experience Required：
1. Good English Language skill
良好的英语水平
2. Basic ability to use IT

3. The ability to use tact and discretion.

4. An awareness of obligations regarding health & safety is beneficial.

5. 1st aid trained (or willingness to train).

6. Be flexible, with good interpersonal skills.

7. A sense of humour/enthusiasm and an interest in student is essential.

8. Good communication and co-ordination skills. The ability to trouble-shoot calmly and effectively would also be advantageous.
