Objective of job
Join Q Satellite China team located in Beijing, to play an active and passionate role as quality engineer, contribute for the Quality Management of MB car connectivity digital services. Focus of this position is to ensure the Quality of car connectivity digital services from Concept phase along development and release until go-live.
Main tasks
1. Continuously develop and update car connectivity digital services functional release standards and procedures to meet customer expectation in China market, focus on market specific usage environment, conditions, and user habit, to evaluate and approve the maturity level of connected functions including smartphone applications and digital services in car in China.
2. Ensuring smartphone applications and in car digital services are in the leading position of industry. Safeguard maturity level at different stages and connectivity projects, by executing test according to release plan for both global and China specific features. Follow up with RD for the root cause analysis and bug-fixing improvement.
3. Support on establishing and optimizing end-to-end monitoring system of connectivity functions on different frontends.
Information synchronization between HQ and Satellite China regarding global blue-print roll out plan and China specific release plan.
4. Lead and support on Q-Release testing activities. Create customer-journey driven test cases before Q Release Testing. Collaborate with RD and Function owners, as well as Business partners to review, analyze and provide feedback to customer-journey in order to safeguard Usability Quality of Connectivity Services.
5. Optimize quality management process through lifecycle of car connectivity Projects practically according to the actual situation. Optimize team resources allocation through Quality Management Process of connectivity.
Qualification
- Master / Bachelor of Computer science or Software engineering etc..
- Preferred1 year working experience in OEM or supplier for Connected Services or in Internet Company.
- Passion to work with cars and connectivity based features and App.
- Good quality sense, always seek for continuous improvement. Vigilant of issue detection and prudent in root cause analysis.
- Basic knowledge about vehicle product and automotive industry. Basic Knowledge of vehicle Infotainment/ Telematics systems, Software implementation in automotive industry.
- Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Excellent driving skills (Chinese driving license is mandatory)
- Team spirit. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Be able to travel domestic frequently.
- Fluent in English, German is plus.
