Its subsidiary, YG Ingredirnts, was established in 2016. At the beginning of its establishment, it was to solve the problems in L-(+)-ergothioneine production process, such as the impurity residue of D-(-)-ergothioneine during chemical production, the solvent residue and non-renewable resource limitations during plant extraction production. By now, we have established a truth-seeking and pragmatic R&D team, and also established a scientific advisory committee chaired by researchers from Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Our company focuses on the technologies of enzyme-directional evolution and high-density biological fermentation, and has earned leading advantages in these fields. Based on patent technologies of enzyme-directional evolution, high-density fermentation, high-efficiency enzyme catalysis, purification and trans-crystallization, we realized the facility startup of the world's *** large-scale biological process of producing ergothioneine. The purity of our ergothioneine is up to 99%, and the optical rotation is ≧+124°. Our ergothioneine is white crystal, odorless, and non-hygroscopic, and has no residues of "toxic solvent" and "D-ergothioneine". The quality is much better than our competitor’s products in international market. Our L-(+)-ergothioneine has won the prizes of "Ringer Innovation Award" and “CIC Innovative Raw Material Award’’ in 2022, and was widely recognized by well-known large customers at home and abroad.
