Position Summary / 职位概况
(Assistant) Application Engineer is the basic level position for contributing
in the ZEISS Geometric Metrology Application Service field, the job holder will
get professional internal trainings and on-job practices for his/her competence
building, the job holder should successfully fulfill kinds of application
service like: Demo, Customer Training, Contract Measurement, Onsite Sup-port
and Application Solution to our internal and external customer.
Requirements / 要求
Education / 教育背景
? Degree in Mechanical or Optical Engineering or othe relevant areas, Master
is preferred, Bachelor is minimum .
Experience /经验
? Relevant professional knowledge and experience of Mechanical Design,
Geometric Metrology or Quality Inspection. Basic GD&T relevant knowledge is
preferred.
? Software programming skills, like C#, Python, C++, java or similar coding
project experience is preferred.
? Relevant knowledge and experience of CMMs or 3D Optical equipements or
X-Ray is preferred.
Other skills /其他技能
? CET4 or above, English reading and writing.
? Fast and proactive learner.
? Customer oriented, Good service mind.
? Open mind, teamwork and self-motived.
? Able to travel frequently on business trips
Job Description
Main Tasks / 主要任务
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? To be assigned as:
Key roles and customer trainers in defined application directions by Biz
demands and personal background.
? To develop oneself:
Responsible for self-motived development as Key Roles in assigned application
directions.
? To serve internal customer:
Responsible for new machine pre-sale support and various tasks fulfillment in
assigned application direction un-der minmium coaching.
? To serve external customer:
Responsible for application service proposal and various tasks fulfillment
for aftermarket customers under neces-sary coaching.
? To solve problem:
Responsible for various application problem solving for internal/external
customer in assigned application direc-tions under minimum coaching.
? To act in global network:
Connect effectively to 2nd level support network during oversea training and
daily communication.
? Actively fitting him/herself into company culture and value, explore
individual way of self-realization during onboard-ing and entire career journey
with ZEISS.
? Successfully fulfill application service tasks like: Demo, Customer
Training, Contract Measurement, Onsite Support and Application Solution to our
internal and external customer.
? Continuously improve him/herself on tool sets and skill sets.
? Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
