Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in all stages of optical transceiver's design and test.
2. Own RF/SI/PI design of optical transceiver and OSA.
3. SI simulation of high-speed systems, including chip packages, PCB, ceramic and system interconnects.
4. Modelling of electrical and optical IC and components.
5. Cooperate with hardware engineers on high-speed optical transceiver circuits design and analysis.
6. Provide detailed SI/ PI/EMI design rule to layout engineer.
7. Drive resolution of SI/PI/EMI issues with hardware engineer and optical engineer.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetic field or Microwave technology.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-speed SI/PI design and simulation, optical transceiver development experience is a plus.
3. EMI/EMC simulation and test experience is preferred.
4. Solid background on transmission line theory.
5. Strong tools knowledge is required. (HFSS/SIwave, CST, ADS)
6. Strong lab skills and measurement experience are required (VNA, TDR, DCA, BERT)
7. Self-motivation, strong teamwork, strong communication skills and out of the box thinking with the strong desire to innovate are essential.
8. Fluent in English speaking and writing.
