Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Application Engineer, you will co-work with R&D and FAE/AE team and you will be involved in FW development, electrical spec verification, function test, SDK test and application issue debug. You may also need to directly participate in customer application issue debug. The following are specific responsibilities:
1. Learn and be familiar with product features, functions, electrical parameter definitions and typical application scenarios.
2. During the development of new IC products, be responsible for R&D solution verification; Test and summarize the electrical performance results; Co-work with validation team to perform various performance tests, collect characterization data;
3. Get involved into SDK development and verification work. Deliver customer-specific technical documentation.
4. Assist the R&D and AE/FAE teams to perform the test and bug shooting during the mass production stage and provide specific test data and reports to customers.
5. Assist and co-work with senior AE on daily work, such as customer project follow-up, apps solution verification.
6. Be able to independently analyze/solve most FAQ questions from customers and provide solutions to customers in time. Provide on-site technical support when necessary.
7. Work closely with R&D team to report, analyze and resolve issues. Provide feedback to R&D regarding the performance of the product.
作为AE，您的主要工作是与R&D及FAE/AE 团队协作负责公司产品的固件开发，电气性能功能测试验证、SDK开发验证及应用调试。同时在必要时需要直接参与客户具体项目的复杂问题定位。您的具体职责如下：
1. 学习并熟悉产品特性，功能，电气参数定义以及典型应用场景；
2. 负责新IC产品开发过程中，对研发的提供方案做应用验证，测试并整理统计电性能参数；和芯片验证团队一起完成新产品的各项性能测试，设计IP产品评估测试方案，完成IP评估报告，收集Characterization 数据；
3. 参与产品SDK 的开发和验证，完成相关应用文档的撰写；
4. 协助研发和AE/FAE团队完成产品量产期间的测试和故障定位，为客户提供所需的测试数据和报告
5. 协助及配合资深应用工程师解决产品相关的一些日常工作，如客户项目跟进，客户应用问题的方案验证与解决
6. 能独立分析、评估并定位/解决客户的多数常见问题，及时给客户提供解决方案。必要时需要到客户现场提供技术服务。
7. 与R&D team保持良好的合作关系，及时并准确的向R&D反馈产品在客户侧的测试结果，共同分析并解决客户侧问题。
Qualifications:
1. bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication engineering/computer science/ Micro-electronics/Electrical Engineering.
2. Proven knowledge of at least one of the following areas: high-speed interface, signal Integrity, Ethernet communication protocol, ASIC flow, analog circuit, DSP knowledge and communication system architecture.
3. The positive, conscientious, responsible, and self-driven working attitude is a must.
4. Willing to have business travels is a must.
5. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
6. Prior telecommunication, data networking, application engineering and signal integrity experience is desirable
7. Familiar with Python/Matlab/HFSS/OrCAD tools is desirable
8. Good customer interface, strong communication and presentation skills
9. Quick learner, ability to multi-tasks.
