Job outline:
The HR Assistant will be mainly responsible for providing service in recruitment and employment operations, staff benefits and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Marketing, Communication, English, or other related discipline;
Good analytical skills and relationship-building skills;
Excellent multi-task and time management skills;
Fluent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation in English;
Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office);
Good collaboration and coordination skills;
Basic HR knowledge;
Experience working in HR;
Self-motivation and adaptability;
A commitment to professionalism;
Desirable
Master’s Degree in HR, Business, Marketing, Communication, English or other related discipline is preferred;
Good knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management;
Experience of working in Sino-foreign joint ventures/ international universities (highly desirable);
Experience of working in international companies, especially professional services/ educational organisations;
Professional certification in HR;
Overseas study experience is preferred;
Master’s Degree in HR, Business, Marketing, Communication, English or other related discipline is preferred.
Main responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Employment Operations(47%)
Provide professional advice to managers, staff and applicants on recruitment and employment related enquires; Escalate complex enquiries to HRBP.
Responsible for the full-cycle of staff recruitment process from gaining authority to fill a post, advertising, receiving applications, short-listing, interviewing, and making offers to issuing a contract;
Manage flexible employment request;
Manage probation, contract/appointment extension;
Maintain recruitment and employment records and conduct data analysis. Support HRBP or Officer to generate all necessary reports and statistics.
2. Staff Benefits administration(47%)
Provide professional advice and service to staff on benefits related matters, e.g flight booking, new staff arrival and repatriation flight, flight bills settlement, birthday gifts and etc.
Manage and maintain employment related records and associated charges/claims/payments;
Regularly measure staff satisfaction of the service delivery and deal with complaints when needed;
3. Other(6%)
Support other HR teams where necessary;
Participate in training and staff development events as trainee as appropriate;
Maintain appropriate professional development, expertise and awareness;
Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.
