We are looking for a Process Engineer for our Division Chassis Solutions at our location of Zhangjiagang, China.
This is a position in charge of all product performances. He/She should join industrialization process in new project development stage to get nominal values from production line. In mass production, this role should support in handling and finding the root cause of bad production performances and support to give advises or solution by using valve tech-knowledge to reduce product scrap and increase FTT&STT, make sure production line can finish production task with high quality.
Your tasks:
* Evaluate and analyze daily achieved results (focus on FTT & scrap) in daily work.
* Daily report shock absorbs which FTT or scrap are not reached and root causes of failures to management and share them to global valve team.
* Consult results with stakeholders when errors and deficiencies are detected, design countermeasures in cooperation with competent departments and push them into practice.
* Prepare reports for SFM and for internal daily FTT meeting with global valve team.
* Support production and quality department to improve process quality; Support quality colleagues to analyze non-confirming parts from customer sides and prepare documents for complaints which included tasks like preparing parts and sending parts to overseas plants, checking and release production when a new product or a new deviation trial runs and development of TBF during industrialization, etc.
* Follow the work arrangement from the direct higher level.
Your profile:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent degree in mechanical engineering or similar majors.
* 1 years or above in auto parts industry, experience in quality or manufacturing or process engineering function would be preferred.
* Be familiar with quality process and analysis tools like SPC, MSA, and PPAP. Knowledge about statistics - green belt of 6 sigma is preferred.
* Basic English writing and speaking skills.
