Formally established in June 2022, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)(HKUST(GZ)) is a cooperatively-run university between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. HKUST(GZ) has obtained approval from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and become the *** legally-independent educational institution co-established by the Mainland and Hong Kong since the announcement and implementation of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Co-operation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha of Guangzhou”. With a spirit of pioneering innovation, HKUST(GZ) charts new territories in cross-disciplinary education and explores new frontiers in pedagogies, aiming to serve as a role model of the mainland-Hong Kong integrated educational development and become a world-famous high-level university, endeavoring to nurture future-oriented, high-level and innovative talents.
In response to the increasingly complex challenges faced by the rapidly changing world, HKUST(GZ) adopts a brand-new and cross-disciplinary academic structure featuring “Hub” and “Thrust” to substitute the conventional one characterized by “school” and “department”, facilitating cross-disciplinary integration while vigorously developing emerging and frontier disciplines. This is a groundbreaking move in the higher education community across the globe.
HKUST(GZ) comprises four Hubs, namely Function Hub, Information Hub, Systems Hub, Society Hub and 16 thrusts. The admission of undergraduate students begins in 2023, with the *** batch of programs covering artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology and smart manufacturing engineering.
Duties
1. End-to-end research project management for LASERi initiatives, including planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, and interdisciplinary coordination to advance low-altitude economy research priorities.
2. Facilitate research grant life-cycle processes, from proposal development (technical feasibility analysis, budget design) to compliance reporting, with emphasis on low-altitude economy focused funding programs.
3. Oversee knowledge dissemination through technical reports, white papers, and stakeholder briefings to translate research insights into actionable strategies.
4. Assist in the establishment of LASERi management systems and related guidelines to ensure the efficient operation and development of the research institute.
5. Carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

1. 负责低空经济研究院科研项目全流程管理，包括规划制定、资源配置、进度跟踪及跨学科协调，以推进低空经济重点研究方向。
2. 主导科研资助全周期管理，涵盖项目立项申报（技术可行性分析、预算编制）至结题验收，重点关注低空经济领域的专项资助计划。
3. 负责通过技术报告、白皮书和利益相关方简报等形式进行知识传播，将研究成果转化为切实可行的战略。
4. 协助建立低空经济研究院管理体系及相关制度规范，以保障研究院的高效运作和发展。
5. 完成上级交办的其他工作。
任职要求:
Qualification Requirements
1. A master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Transportation or related fields. Expertise in low-altitude economy infrastructure, especially low-altitude situational awareness and ecosystem are particularly preferred.
2. At least 1 year of experience in research program management within academia or research sectors, preferably involving aviation infrastructure projects, airspace policy analysis, or technology-driven urban development initiatives.
3. Demonstrated understanding of next-gen infrastructure challenges in low-altitude domains (e.g., vertiport design, CNS/ATM systems, UAV traffic management).
4. Strong service orientation, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility, with the ability to execute tasks effectively under pressure.
5. Quick learning ability, capable of working independently, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
6. Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and a willingness to take on challenges.
7. Proficiency in both Chinese and English for written and verbal communication.
8. Skilled in using office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

1. 电气工程、机械与航空航天工程、交通运输或相关专业硕士及以上学历；具有低空经济基础设施（低空态势感知、生态系统构建等）相关专业背景者优先。
2. 拥有至少1年的高校或科研机构科研项目管理经验，有航空基础设施项目、空域政策分析或技术驱动型城市发展项目经验者优先。
3. 对低空领域下一代基础设施的技术挑战（如垂直起降机场设计、CNS/ATM系统、无人机交通管理）有深入理解。
4. 服务意识强，富有团队精神与责任心，具备压力环境下高效执行能力。
5. 学习能力强，工作细致严谨，能独立完成高质量成果产出 。
6. 优秀的时间管理和沟通能力，适应多线程工作节奏，勇于接受挑战。
7. 具备出色的中英文书面和口头沟通能力。
8. 熟练使用Word、Excel和PowerPoint等办公软件。
This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST(GZ) entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
