Responsibilities
1. Scope: Interprets order requirements to coordinate assignments and establishes accountabilities for Engineering Materials, Quality Assurance, Credit, Production, Shipping, Service and market team support staff as appropriate during the planning meetings. Reviews customer purchase order amendments and/or additions and discusses with appropriate department. Works with Materials to revise assembly and parts lists drawings to correspond to changes made to detail drawings and bills of materials. Handles customer requests for assistance or complaints and initiates response and/or takes corrective action as required.
2. Planning: Works in conjunction with the Engineering Department to assemble a full range of layout assembly and detail drawing. Prepares and forwards preliminary bills of material as well as revised submittals to the customer for approval. Monitors the progress of project equipment through design and build process and resolves any issues impacting progress.
3. Cost Management: Monitors project costs and/or adjustments, paying attention to the original margins set and advising management when deviations occur.
4. Timelines: Develops project time estimates and product cost comparisons and selects materials, commercial parts and technical data.
5. Production: May oversee production processes, suggesting changes in working methods or sequences in order to improve efficiencies of project timelines.
6. Documentation: Coordinates and maintains all Engineering documents and design change information at the facility.
7. Shipping Information: Investigates and keeps management informed of problems in shipping projects in compliance with customer’s target receipt data.
8. Other responsibilities as assigned or directed.
Key Competencies
1. Bachelor Degree and above, Majored in Mechanical / Compressor / Fluid / Vacuum / Thermal and Power Engineering
2. Good at theory knowledge, have been engaged in theoretical research, practical application or test verification of fluid, rotating machinery, vacuum and other related subjects. Team leader or major participant in the subject group will be a plus
3. Prefer candidates with experience in numerical calculations, such as Thermal Dynamics, CFD and FEA with practical application scenarios
4. Preference will be given to candidates who have programming experience, such as Python, Java, C++, MATLAB, should be used as a valuable tool in practical work
5. Candidates should have the spirit of researching technology and good learning ability, and will be able to expand to the depth and breadth of technologies
6. Good data management and analytical skills
7. Good team work and communication skills
8. Fluent English level in writing, reading. Ability of productive oral conversation will be a plus
9. Knowledge of Lean tools, DFMEA and Six Sigma tools will be a plus
