This role performs a wide variety of sophisticated analytical measurements; collaborates & has oversight of critical analytical methodology primarily on Nutritional, Food Safety and High Risk Chemical ingredients (HRCl). This position is responsible to ensure timely and reliable results (Raw ingredient qualification, Products quality monitoring and NlR calibration samples) while deploying an lS0 17025 based quality system on daily basis
What are we looking for?
61Bachelor's degree or above in chemistry or natural or food sciences/pharmaceutical with emphasis in Analytical chemistry.
612 -9 years’ experience with chemical and physical analyses in food or related industries。(advanced education may partially substitute for required experience).。Knowledge and skills in running and maintaining necessary analytical instrumentation is required.
61Experience working in a production lab environment.。
61Working knowledge of lSO 17025 standard。
61Knowledge of food safety and nutrition an asset。
61Good English skill of listening, speaking, reading and writing。
What will be your key responsibilities?
61Deliver true, accurate results in a timely manner
61Technical knowledge and expertise in the use and application of specialized analytical instrumentation to support Nutritional testing, pre-mix, pre-blends, mixer studies, raw ingredients, developmental products, and finished product analysis. Specific instrumentation includes, but not limited to, ICP/MS.AAS, LECO Protein Analyzers, Amino acid analyzer, Fat Extractors, Auto Titrators, HPLC, GC,LC/MS/MS, Laser Granulometry analyzer.
61Carrying out routine analysis accurately while following documented methodsSkilled in sample preparation, clean-up, separation, and assay.
61Monitors regional laboratory needs on regular basis.
61Operate, manage & maintain laboratory instrumentation
61Maintains documentation of analytical results in the Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS).
61When appropriate, help to write/create documents for, and always follow laboratory qualitymanagement systems lS0 17025 and Mars Global Laboratory Quality Management System.
61Work as a team player including open and honest communication, respecting confidentiality with anylaboratory information.
61Follows Health & Safety requirements for Site and Lab.
