Shenzhen Kaifa Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. (KAIFA) was established in Chengdu, Sichuan province in 2016. It is the holding subsidiary of Shenzhen Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 000021), which is one of the public companies of CEC group. The predecessor of KAIFA was the Metering R&D Center since 1995. KAIFA continues to focus on the sustainable innovation in energy management, and to provide reliable & competitive solutions and services to create more value for customers and society.

As the first smart metering enterprise that exports smart meter “Designed and Made in China", KAIFA has delivered more than 48 million smart meters to Europe and over 80 million smart meters to over 80 utilities in 39 countries around the world. The AMI System has been deployed more than 10 countries, which can accommodate over 15 million smart metering devices. Besides, KAIFA has reached international sophisticated criteria in terms of PLC and wireless communication, accumulating rich experience in design, integration, quality control, supply chain management and on-site service. Its self-designed products have also proved the reliability throughout the entire life cycle on site.
