As a Senior Data Engineer at AMEC, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and new feature development for the company's
products through data science. You will uncover and advance any potential data analytics applications across AMEC, employing advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques. This encompasses a broad spectrum, including health monitoring of semiconductor equipment, failure detection, analysis of process results, and optimization of process recipes
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate intimately with AMEC's process and equipment engineers, playing a pivotal role in uncovering and addressing complex data analytics
challenges.
2. Drive the implementation of data science initiatives, such as Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Fault Prediction and Health Management PHM (Prognostics Health Management), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Advanced Process Control (APC), and data-driven CFD modelling.
3. Harness your expertise to solve real-world AMEC problems across diverse data scales, directly impacting customer satisfaction and project
success through tailored, effective solutions.
4. Investigate and evaluate various available and effective tools in the field of data science for model design and improvement
Requirements:
1. Master's or PhD degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Automation, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other quantitative field.
2. Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical algorithms to design and implement robust and efficient models.
3. Familiar with data processing flow and feature engineering, mastering algorithms such as PCA, SVD, SVM, k-means clustering, etc.
4. Be proficient in Python or Matlab programming languages, familiar with scientific computing libraries such as Scipy, Sklearn, Numpy, Pandas, and deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow, C++ is a plus.
5. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with publications in data science conferences or journals/project experience in related fields (PHM/FDC/semiconductor device data analytics) is a plus
