Responsibilities:
1.Strong and close collaboration with INFICON headquarter (in English) and customers to develop new applications and assist new product developments, with a proactive mindset and strong ownership.
2.Responsible for setting up, testing, evaluating and improving customer-near leak detection applications in the INFICON laboratory.
3.Independent control and improvement of laboratory set-ups and scientific data analysis.
4.Strong cooperation and collaboration with international INFICON07s R&D, Product Marketing Department and customers, to develop new applications and assist new product developments.
5.Provide technical support for sales and application engineers in China, with focus on the battery industry. Participate in customer projects and assist sales to provide suitable solutions for the customers, with measurements as well as with theoretical calculations.
6.Visit customers to explore their needs and trends. Monitor INFICON’s products on usage, and users' comments and requirements, and give the feedback on the relevant information to sales.
7.5.Keep eye on the trends of product categories and market segments in the related industry. Actively collect and summarize market information and trends to improve or adjust the direction of business in a timely manner.
Requirements：
1.Master’s degree or higher in physics or similar major.
2.Strong team player with skills in excellent intercultural and interpersonal transparent communication.
3.Clear communication with HQ and engineers (in English) for technology and project alignment. Clear communication with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
4.1+ year(s) of experience in vacuum technology, laboratory work, R&D, and data analysis. Used to work scientifically and self-organized.
5.Ability to communicate and write fluently in English.
6.Experienced in vacuum system design, different pumps, and laboratory setup. Mass spectrometer and/or Helium leak-testing knowledge is an asset.
7.Strong scientific mindset with hands-on experience in data analysis, such as Excel, Matlab, Labview, Originlab, etc. Programming knowledge is a Plus.
8.Self-motivated, independent, and well-organized professional with strong documentation skills and a proactive working attitude, consistently focused on understanding customer needs and delivering high-quality support.
9.Work location: Guangzhou (Travel to other regions will be arranged depend on customer needs).
