Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a (Senior) O2C Specialist to join our dynamic APAC Financial Shared Service Center team for our newly acquired business. As a key member of the business partner group, you will manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, overseeing activities from cash receipts, reconciliation and refund payments to cash allocation, all while ensuring alignment with our global standards.
Key Responsibilities
61 Process Daily Cash Receipts: Input and process daily cash receipts from bank statements, cheques, and credit cards. Update matching rules within the system as needed.
61 Reconcile Payments: Reconcile credit card payment portals and associated general ledger daily. Assist in month-end closing activities.
61 Cash Allocations: Perform standard cash allocations and allocate unallocated payments to appropriate systems.
61 Investigate Payments and Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve unidentified and unapplied payments, as well as reconciling items identified during the reconciliation process.
61 Refund Processing: Process refund payments in accordance with company guidelines.
61 Event Support: Provide onsite support for money collection at Asia events.
61 Customer Liaison: Act as a liaison with internal and external customers.
61 Audit Support: Support internal and external audits.
61 Credit Balances Report: Prepare credit balances reports.
61 Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other ad hoc tasks as requested.
Qualifications
61 Educational Background: Relevant qualifications in a business or finance discipline.
61 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience. Supervisory experience is a must for senior specialist role.
61 Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential. Knowledge of Oracle or SAP is an advantage.
61 Cash Applications Expertise: Strong understanding of cash applications processes, including:
- Queries & Allocations
- Cash Processing and Reconciliations
- Best practices in Cash Operations
61 Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Ability in any other Asian languages is an advantage. Proficiency in both written and spoken Korean is highly preferred.
61 Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments, and key contacts.
61 Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under time pressure.
61 Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate across teams.
61 Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills.
61 Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills.
61 Time Management: Good time management skills.
61 Flexibility: Ability to be flexible within the role.
