II. Job Summary:
BridgeNet Control Towers are regional hubs that direct operational activities and provide visibility to the client. As the Control Tower Coordinator, you will play a critical part in the tactical execution of the 4PL solution by planning transportation, monitoring exceptions, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. This role provides the opportunity to make a clear impact on BridgeNet’s success through its importance as the *** line of defense for transportation execution.
III. Essential Functions: (Primary)
Execute transport, load, and consolidation planning
Execute 3PL selection and booking process
Proactively identify and address any transport related exceptions
Act as the point of contact for transport related communication with vendors, 4PL customer, and 3PL’s
Provide solutions to shipment specific questions and inquiries
Monitor and follow up on non-compliant or missing communication events
Other functions as assigned

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 1-3 years of logistics related experience
Knowledge and Skills Desirable but Not Essential:
Industry experience
Sound understanding of a service organization
International business experience
Travel/Meeting Requirements
Travel is expected to be less than 5%
Meetings and conference calls may be required outside of normal business hours to allow for global participation.
