TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
61 This position will be responsible for managing edits to existing packaging,
meeting tight deadlines and making revisions provided from the US, CAN and
UK branches.
61 Ensure that proper country of origin, addresses, logos and UPC’s are on all
packages.
61 Create labels for packaging reworks.
61 Maintains design standards by using correct typography and follows
requirements for type size and placement on packaging.
61 Responsible for following-through on all open projects ensuring approval is
received and files are sent to the factory.
61 Coordinate the sending of packaging files to factories.
61 Responsible for including the correct ink colors for each job on the file when
sending to the factory.
61 Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Nothing in this job

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
61 Requires effective oral and written communication skills including the ability
to proof, present ideas, and/or facts and recommendations effectively.
61 Good communication skills with others in the department, with other
departments and with suppliers.
61 Must be able to calculate correct sizes and color percentages for packaging.
61 Knowledge of 4/color process and spot color printing on offset and
flexographic presses.
61 Must be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite.
61 Familiar with using the Internet and email.
61 Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
61 Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work independently with little direction.
61 Ability to understand CDU/PDQ die lines.
REQUIREMENTS
61 Very strong English skill. Proficiency in written and spoken in both English &
Mandarin;
61 Must be a good team player and fast learner;
61 Detail oriented with excellent common sense and a strong sense of urgency
& responsibility.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
61 Bachelor's degree from a four-year art college or university preferred.
61 1 year of related experience and/or training required.
61 Experiences on Party items, Paper decorations, etc. would be a benefit.
61 More experience will be considered as Senior packaging designer.
