ALLOCATOR/ SR. ALLOCATOR
Allocator/ Senior Allocator is responsible for the completion of daily activities that support replenishment, sales and inventory initiatives to make optimum use of the Company’s inventory. S/he acts as the direct liaison to all retail channels for stock level analysis and sales support and very closely with local merchandising team, regional brands merchants and logistic teams
Direct Reporting Line: Senior Merchandising Manager
Key missions are the following:
Define the global strategy on merchandise flow and level of stocks to optimize sales and global inventory
61 Define and update store category grading to optimize sales and merchandise allocation plan with the insights of commercial team
61 Analyze cluster selling and communicate regularly with stores to capitalize on opportunities
61 Assist in pre-season buys preparations by defining and providing store categories, optimal stock levels and minimum buy quantities.
61 Define setting and auto replenishment criteria based on store cluster, store performances and commercial calendar to maximize the sales while not over-stocking each store
61 Ability to set up the allocation tool to have a systematic analysis and reporting of allocation and replenishment
61 Define shortage management rule
Lead daily operations and merchandise streams
61 Stream in
- Follow-up the orders reception from each brand HQ and/or from U turn
- Liaise with HQ about the delivery planning – forecasted and actual
- Monitor carefully the reorders on best product items to ensure a very quick setting up in stores
61 Stream out
- Validate with retail and brand merchant each collection launch based on actual reception in nb of styles and depth
- Manage the merchandise allocation based on Asia HQ buys, store cluster and assortment guidelines
- Monitor/Adapt stock allocation by store and optimize stock replenishment – on a regular base to support sales plan while considering current sales performances, ST level and store max. capacity
- Communicate with store managers on ensuring their store needs/market needs are addressed
- Prepare store openings, coordination with retail and logistics
61 Between stores
- Analyze, suggest and execute consolidations based on sales and ST achievement
- When relevant, proceed to transfers between stores based on customers orders
Commercial and marketing operations
61 Based on commercial calendar, follow up the seasonal commercial schedule led by regional team and take proper actions
61 Liaise with retail team and TP for ecom to ensure a good execution of markdowns in stores/ecom
61 Ensure inventory allocated to meet store sales targets.
Reporting
Define the good reports and KPI to communicate with retail team, regional team, merchandising team such as
61 Weekly delivery reports per brand : store delivery vs retroplanning and LY records
61 Weekly allocation report per brand and store with current sales trend and stock level per season and all seasons
61 Monthly sales results and inventory level follow-up
61 Mkdown
- global guidelines per brand and discount bracket vs LY
- sales reports to analyze each Mkdown period
Requirements
61 3– 4 years allocation/planning experience
61 Excellent written/verbal communication and diplomacy skills
61 Advanced Computer skills - MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with Storeland, Qlikview and Scortex are preferred but not required.
61 Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner, prioritize and meet tight deadlines concurrently
61 Ability to read, understand, and interpret various Financial and Retail Performance Reports
