Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the domestic export cargo operation carry on smoothly and safely in terminal, ensure all domestic export cargo are timely reload on plan vessel. At the meantime, keep in close touch with relevant cargo flow team in HO MRS and follow their instruction accordingly. This job includes 80% of vessel planning and Doc operation, 20% of communication and co-operation with all relevant parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- After CMA inland office upload the manifest to web system, match booking with inbound. If any mismatch, inform inland office to correct or clarify to make sure all domestic export cargo will be correctly upload to inbound system.
- Nominate the cargo to 2nd leg vessel as per journey leg or instruction from cargo flow team in HO. Update journey leg if POL do not. Declare the 2nd leg vessel to customs office and terminal, etc.
- Make sure POL have duly submit application for IMDG / OOG / RF on 2nd leg vessel. If missing approval, push POL to submit or directly submit to DG desk / ship manager / cargo flow team to approve.
- Timely update system and inform GSSC filing AMS and ENS successfully.
- Keep in close touch with terminal, make sure all units loading on nominated vessel. In case, some unit short load, duly report to HO and nominate it on next available vessel and update journey leg.
- Every day, submit forecast list to relevant cargo flow team as per lines schedule. If any special or urgent case, immediately report it to HO / POL or POD.
- If any VIP or HOT BOXES, closely monitor shipment and make sure it transships in Shanghai port smoothly.
Required Experience & Skills:
1. Bachelor degree with major in maritime and or logistics management
2. Internship experience in vessel operation is preferred
3. Be proficient in computer application and office, e.g. Excel, PPT, etc.
4. Good command of both spoken and written English
5. Familiar with the document procedure in terminal is a plus
6. With good communication skills
7. Strong sense of responsibility for work
