Key responsibilities：
1.Creates technical documentation for Dometic products and other Dometic brands. This technical documentation must be compliant according to various national and international laws, directives, regulations, and technical standards.
2.Uses an Oxygen XML/DITA XML based authoring environment to create the technical documentation.
3. Acts as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) towards the Product Managers and responsible persons in the factories for the management of all projects regarding technical documentation (internal and external documents).
4. Secures up-to-date creation, translation, archiving and publication of technical documents (operating, installation, service manuals etc.). To achieve this, he/she creates technical documentation by himself/herself or authorizes service providers to do so.
5. Spend 75% on authoring tasks and 25% on QA, implementation and development of authoring guidelines.
6. Monitors and follows-up on translations quality.
7. Adapts processes and tools in the technical documentation to the latest technical developments.
8. Develops layout guidelines and editorial guidelines for technical documentation.
9. Supervises the observance of layout guidelines and editorial guidelines.
10. Develops and monitors a consistent terminology.
Education & Qualifications:
1. Technical Writing Bachelor of Engineering/Arts or similar qualification, at least English Level B2, CET-6 or other equivalent level.
2. He/she creates, edits and proof-reads technical documentation with Oxygen XML/DITA XML from draft to print.
3. It would be advantageous if he/she has experiences of automated content delivery (DocOps) or continuous deployment (CD).
4. It would be advantageous if he/she has experiences in terminology management.
5. It would be advantageous if he/she has experience with XML programming with XSLT.
6. It would be advantageous if he/she has experience with Adobe InDesign or Adobe FrameMaker.
7. It would be advantageous if he/she can write/speak Hungarian, German, or Swedish.
8. The Technical Writer/Project Manager knows the applicable technical standards, directives and laws and researches new ones that apply to Dometic products.
9. He/she uses Oxygen XML/DITA for creating the technical documentation and uses modern terminology management tools.
10. He/she should have worked in a technical documentation department before.
