What this job involves:
Objective:
JLL APAC Research is seeking a Research Analyst – JBS Gurugram team to proactively maintain and enrich proprietary property, company and transaction data in our Research database. Additionally, input data and information in the system that comes in from third-party sources. Specific responsibilities include searching for missing information within the database, searching the internet to obtain missing information and entering that data into the system. The successful candidate will monitor data into the system, review data accuracy and take appropriate action to reconcile discrepancies when needed. In addition, the analyst will work closely with all levels of Research from management to local analysts and members of the Global Data Hub to carry out regular and ad hoc data initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
61 Enter property, company and transaction information into the Research database
61 Regularly monitor data quality dashboards to proactively monitor when inaccurate and incomplete data is entered in the system and quickly correct or escalate issues to the local market researcher
61 Monitor company names in the database and appropriately merge and enrich records with additional data
61 Manual data entry work and management of data in custom-built Research applications
61 Correct inaccurate location information within the database based on a geographic hierarchy
61 Coordinate with Research team to increase data completeness and improve data quality
61 Participate in ad hoc data management projects as and when required
Other required tasks may include
61 Numeracy, ability to interpret data and understand relationships between indicators
61 Advanced Excel skills including writing and editing complex formulas with nested functions, e.g., Index Match
61 Experience with python and R, familiar with loading data to an integrated development environment (IDE), e.g., Pandas, Jupyter Notebook or RStudio, via Excel and calling data via API, manipulating that data and exporting it to Excel files

61 Strong English reading and speaking capabilities
61 Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
61 Experience in using a property management/lease administration system preferred
61 Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
61 Flexibility/Adaptability: Readiness to change, receptive to new ideas
61 Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and effectively handling and prioritizing stakeholder requests
61 Experience building data health dashboards to monitor data completeness and integrity in Power BI or Tableau a plus
61 Able to provide solutions and strategies for stakeholder needs and concerns
61 Persistent in efforts, practice care and caution when completing work
Employee Specification
61 Graduation (B.A., BBA,) with equivalent work experience in data research/analytics related profile
61 A minimum of 2-3 year’s experience managing large datasets with an eye for data accuracy and working towards tight deadlines to deliver data, ideally via custom-built applications; Experience with real estate data a plus
61 Strong attention to detail and good organizational, interpersonal skills required
