Responsibilities:
· Provide a wide range of tax advisory services on international tax advisory engagements, tax structuring, cross-border/M&A transactions, and ad hoc projects
· Address complex international corporate tax issues and assists clients in strategically aligning different areas of taxation. Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
· Help to build and maintain client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
· Develop and guide junior tax professionals by providing effective performance feedback and ensuring team responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goals.
· Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to moderately complex situations.
· Build strong internal relationships within the ITTS and broader tax teams and across other services.
· Contribute to the overall success of the team by developing a thorough understanding of EY methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:
· Bachelor degree and ideally a Professional accountancy qualification(accounting or tax)
· 2 - 5 years of tax experience (including tax advisory) in a professional firm / Big 4 firm or as inhouse-tax advisor
· Candidates with less experience will be considered as staff accountant
· Team player with strong oral and writing communication skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
· Experience working in international tax or on M&A transactions or cross-border transactions is preferred, but not essential
· Fluent in English
