What you’ll be doing:
61 The main purpose of Shipbroker is to maintain a good relationship with clients, and act as a specialist, intermediary and negotiator between shipowners and multi-national charterers to arrange ocean transport of goods and commodities by sea (including but not limited to business development, negotiations of contracts and so on).
61 Develop markets, maintain customers, and negotiate bulk shipping charters
61 Information collection and maintenance of charter market
61 Establish and maintain good relationships with shipowners and charterers
61 Supervise the execution of charter parties and cooperate with voyage operations
What we’re looking for:
61 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
61 Proactive, outgoing personality, strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills and teamwork.
61 Possess basic knowledge of Handymax and proficiency in spoken and written business English.
61 Ability to handle high-paced workloads and demonstrate strong resilience under pressure.
61 High subjective initiative and strong creativity.
61 Excellent negotiation skills and techniques.
61 Solid professional ethics and industry morality in the workplace.
61 Skilled at maintaining client relationships and resolving client issues effectively.
