General Description:

Data Insights team aims to pioneer the use of AI in data insights to transform data into a strategic intelligence, unlocking hidden patterns and enabling predictive, real-time decision-making. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that will improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the lifecycle of drug discovery and development processes.
Essential Functions of the job:
Development:
Implement basic machine learning models and algorithms under guidance.
Contribute to feature development in AI-based products.
Write clean, functional code for individual modules.
Assist in building and evaluating statistical and predictive models under the guidance of senior AI Analytics Engineer.
Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
Data Handling:
Assist with data preprocessing, feature extraction, and transformations.
Perform EDA to identify trends, patterns, and insights in the data that will inform decision-making and drive strategy.
Testing:
Conduct unit tests and debug existing AI solutions.
Evaluate models using standard metrics and report results.
Collaboration:
Work closely with senior team members to understand requirements and best practices.
Document processes and code for knowledge sharing.
Learning:
Stay updated on AI basics and foundational tools/frameworks.
Computer Skills:02
Proficient in 02SAS, R and Python or another programming language; basic understanding of frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
Machine Learning (ML): Understands basic ML algorithms (linear regression, decision trees, k-means, etc.).
Good knowledge of cloud platforms or databases (e.g., Oracle, AWS, AZURE etc) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Spotfire).
Basic understanding of linear algebra, calculus, and probability.
Version Control: Familiarity with Git and collaborative coding practices.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.). 02

Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Good communication skills for explaining insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
