University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Student Admission Assistant
Your Responsibilities
The role will contribute to the overall effective service delivery of providing information and support to ensure a high-quality admissions service is provided to all applicants, education agents and academic decision makers in accordance with agreed standard.
Your key responsibilities include:
61 Carry out initial checks on domestic PG, international and HMT applications including but not limited to minimum entry requirements, multiple application identification.
61 Identify missing information and/or document and liaise with applicants accordingly.
61 Carry out immigration history checks on applicants, and to ensure they are eligible to study at the University.
61 Undertake scholarship application assessment based on defined criteria and provide advice to applicants where appropriate. Liaise with Admission Managers for complex cases.
61 Liaise with Admission Tutors of Faculties and departments to conduct interviews and to obtain application review results, while ensuring that applications continue to progress through the process at a suitable pace.
61 Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders to provide better services to applicants.
61 Maintain timely records for all the applicants in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the University.
About You
61 A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
61 Experience of working within higher education context;
61 Knowledge of higher education in an international and HMT context;
61 Experience of working in a high-volume processing environment using complex databases;
61 Ability to understand, explain and apply complex procedures and regulations;
61 Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
61 Problem-solving skills.
