Role responsibilities
● To support the School and Departments' daily operation, including support for internal and external queries, statistics/data analysis, meeting organization and minutes taking, budget preparation, financial reimbursements, travel arrangements, business visits, web page maintenance for school and programme promotion;
● To assist the School's and Departments' assessment, learning and teaching and research activities as appropriate, coordinating with other team members and offices to organize and support academic projects and events, e.g. quality assurance and accreditation projects, research seminars/workshops, academic conferences, students’ competitions, regular induction and open day sessions, etc.
● To provide backup to cover the duties of other team members as assigned by the line manager;
● To undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by the School and the University;
Qualifications
● Postgraduate qualification with excellent English and Chinese written and spoken skills;
● Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
● Attention to detail in data entry, working on reports and correspondence with accuracy;
● Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of people, to work as part of a team, and to liaise with colleagues as appropriate;
● Ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time, and to organize and prioritize own work, including coping with unpredictable volumes of work and busy periods;
● Dependability, reliability and ability to produce work of high quality;
● Ability to handle confidential matters.
