What you’ll do:
61 Communicate with relevant stakeholders regarding resolving issues related to delivery of projects.
61 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ITID, Vendor, Business user, and other relevant stakeholders to resolve production queries or incidents with workarounds and long-term solutions.
61 Present, develop, and apply program fixes on application defects according to HSBC Change Management standards.
61 Influence key stakeholders to achieve the best desired outcome.
61 Understand functional and non-functional requirements through regular interactions with Business Analysts, SMEs, and Solution Architects.
61 Lead in designing solutions that are reusable and maintainable.
61 Ensure the design of product solutions are cost-effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activities.
61 Break down system functions into multiple-tier API layers and microservices.
61 Provide accurate estimates and status to management, raising issues appropriately.
61 Ensure that development is done with the highest quality measured by defect counts and defect ratios.
61 Provide application incident on-call support during off-business hours, and provide weekend/public holiday application support per project delivery and business needs.

61 University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.
61 Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
61 Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform.
61 Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Azure services and Power Platform components such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
61 Strong experience in building custom connectors for Power Platform.
61 Proficiency in using Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service) for data storage and management.
61 Experience with Power Platform environments, solutions, and governance.
61 Hands-on experience with Power Platform ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices.
61 Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
61 Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue.js.
61 Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
61 Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including code optimization, scalability, and performance.
Additional Skills:
61 Demonstrable experience of designing Cloud solutions using a combination of cloud-native, 3rd party, and on-premise technologies.
61 Good understanding of the challenges and constraints of migrating from existing systems and platforms to Cloud-based technologies.
61 Strong backend engineering experience using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS.
61 Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
61 Prior experience in Banking and Financial product knowledge is an advantage.
