MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility is the business unit specializing in spare parts and services for the aftermarket. It uses the expertise from original equipment series production for its established product range and additional competence in electrification and digitalization and supplies partners in the trade, workshops, and engine repair shops. The products developed by the MAHLE Service Solutions business segment for workshop equipment, as well as comprehensive services and individual training offers, complete the portfolio.
Your Contribution:
Assuring procurement of components matching required specifications at competitive prices from stable, reliable suppliers in accordance with regional and global BU3 Business and Strategy plans and related COGS KPI for productst. Acting as global and responsible windows person related to in A/P located suppliers.
- Introduce new, reliable and competitive suppliers
- Optimize and maintain current existing supplier panel & make sourcing strategically
- New Projects sourcing for different regions.
- Cost review & negotiation
- Collaborate with PMs and QMs to proceed NPI, supplier change/ design change per MAPIM procedure
- Data maintenance by different tooling and system such as Jaggar, MAPIM & SAP
- Other duties as assigned
Your Experience & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree, engineering background is preferred
- Good English skills, fluent oral English
- Sourcing experience is required, preferred in automotive industry / aftermarket industry
- Product knowledge on aftermarket products, preferred Thermal products
- Computer skills (MS Office, SAP, Lotus Notes), preferred understand engineering drawing
- Good data maintenance skill (can deal with > 1000 part numbers).
- Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility.
- Cross-function team cooperation ability (internal and external steakholder)
- Purchasing knowledge of advanced purchasing, supplier audit/control and project management.
- Knowledge of product development, manufacture processes.
- Knowledge of VDA, ITAF 16949 quality system and concerning procedure, such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC etc
