Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* New Product Development and Introduction (50%)
- Hardware design includes schematic drawing and layout according to market input (functions and regulations)
- Hardware design meets project requirements: including cost, timeline, production, logistic, lifecycle
- Hardware test includes EMC test, UL safety test, Hazardous test, reliability test and so on
- Hardware release includes Testing concept (ICT & FCT) and BOM release
- Hardware design follows the agile, module principles
- Cooperate with project leader, software engineer, mechanic engineer, sourcing engineer, production engineer and other engineers
* Maintenance of Product Line (40%)
- Keep the product delivery due to components shortage and component end of life
- Improve the product quality due to customer feedback, production line issues and so on
- Continuously decrease the product cost with new technologies
* Pre-Study project (10%)
- New idea creation and prove and introduction among the team
- Evaluate new technologies, patent writing and preparation for applying on new product
Critical Competencies/Minimum Requirements:
* Master or above, electronic engineering or similar education background (MUST)
* At least 1 year electronics circuit design, debug, and test experience (MUST)
* Master on electronics circuit design tool chain, like Mentor Graphics, AutoCAD and others (MUST)
* Master on EMC regulations and test (MUST)
* Technologically curious and creative (MUST)
* Self-motivated, result-oriented, can take ownership on tasks (MUST）
* Experienced with embedded system hardware design like terminal (Analog signal, digital signal and communication) will be preferred (PLUS)
* Experienced with agile development principle will be preferred (PLUS)
* Good English read and written ability, and excellent written and verbal communication skill (PLUS)
