The Field Application Engineer is part of the Sales & Marketing department. He drives all necessary technical support actions to secure business creation at customers on wide portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
61 Accountable to drive design wins in their target accounts
61 Successfully builds relationship with customer R&D, test and other technical teams, to catch every design-in opportunity
61 Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, and value proposition deployment
61 Actively follow up customer project design process, and take prompt response to project change and customer request to secure the win
61 Successfully builds relationships with sales and marketing team members, BGs, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives
61 Synthesizes customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps
61 Project manages the Nexperia design in campaigns for assigned customers to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and continuous and timely flow of information to all necessary parties within the BGs and customer
61 Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and establishes Nexperia's value proposition/position relative to the competition
61 Qualifies the value of our products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia
61 Owns the block diagram process to ensure broader technical team understands the full system requirements
61 Delivers ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of Nexperia solutions within their practice areas
61 Analyzes customer's technical objectives through relevant data gathering techniques enabling the sales team to be more predictive, effective and responsive to customer needs

YOUR PROFILE
61 Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, the *** batch of universities is preferred.
61 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HW design engineering and field application engineering.
61 Preferably, candidates should have related work experience in automotive and consumer segments.
61 Must have strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication with relevant stake holders
61 Candidates should possess the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
61 Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is required
61 Willingness to travel frequently is expected
