OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Reporting to Manager of Product Commercialization, you will undergo a 2-year structured training program including rotations within the manufacturing departments. After 2 year’s training program, you will be assigned with a critical role in the Manufacturing Excellence department to continue a strong partnership with our Manufacturing Partner. Under mentorship from experienced engineers and professionals, you will gain hands-on experience and develop a diverse skill set in a dynamic and innovative work environment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reflect and role model BOA’s vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the Manufacturing Excellence team and rest of the organization
- Participate in rotations across the manufacturing excellence team focusing on plastic injection and tooling engineering to gain comprehensive knowledge of design for manufacturing efficiency
- Collaborate with global teams and supplier partners contribute to projects and initiatives within Manufacturing Excellence function
- Conduct data and case analysis to support daily operations such as problem solving and project progress review
- Draw, review, and modify CAD designs on product or tooling based on discussions with Supplier or Product Development Team to support product development projects
- Support on end-to-end Toll Gate process
- Proactively learn new skills and tools relevant to support solving manufacturing problems with creative solutions or recommendations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering or other related areas
- Fresh graduates or graduates in recent 2 years
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, SolidWorks or UG
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English; proficiency in Cantonese is a plus
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Open-mindedness and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Willingness to travel to occasional travel
