Job summary:
The Government Affairs Intern will support the department in monitoring and analyzing developments in the U.S.-China tariffs and related policies. The role will involve collecting and organizing policy updates, drafting briefings, and gathering information on potential supportive measures issued by various levels of government in China.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and Analyze Tariff Developments:
Keep track of the latest changes and trends in the U.S.-China tariffs.
Analyze the impact of these changes on the company and industry.
Policy Research and Documentation:
Collect and organize information on new policy developments.
Draft concise and informative briefings for internal stakeholders.
Government Support Measures:
Gather and document supportive policies issued by Chinese government entities.
Maintain an organized database of these measures for easy access and reference.
Requirements:
1. Educational background in English, Chemistry, Sociology, International Relations, Political Science, or Public Policy,etc.
2. Proficiency in English and Chinese, with strong communication skills in both languages.
3.Strong research and analytical skills.
4.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5.A proactive attitude and keen interest in government affairs and policy analysis.
6. A full-time internship for 6 months is an ideal option.
