PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Support Services:
1. In consultation with Business Development Team, prepare quotations for clients in a timely and professional manner.
2. Prepare tenders, service level agreements and standard operating procedures for new or existing World Courier clients to ensure robust expectations are set and practices established to guide future partnership activities.
3. Manage all lead generation activities provided by internal World Courier teams with a view to securing future business for the organisation.
4. Track and report on overall Business Development KPIs.
Reports and Statistics
5. Maintain records of sales targets, confirmed sales, and provide weekly and monthly detailed reports as required.
6. Provide tailored reports for key clients ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Sales Analysis:
7. Maintaining Sales Force data systems, including account set up and monthly reports.
8. To conduct market research in industries/sectors that are of interest to World Courier within & out of existing business portfolio for continued business growth desired.
9. To provide support in identify appropriate marketing measurements/opportunities, such as advertising to secure leads and increase overall brand awareness.
10. Any other relevant duties as required by your manager.
Teamwork and Collaboration
11. Contribute to team and organisational wide discussions by sharing ideas, experiences and recommendations around improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the business
12. Effectively collaborate with team members to ensure that the function is operating effectively and efficiently, while maintaining an efficient support network for the team.
13. Managing remote business relationships and supporting Business Development Managers during periods of travel/on road sales
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. 2-3 years of sales and marketing experience in a related industry - air-express (preferred).
2. Sound experience in a customer service or administrative role
3. Advanced experience in Sales Force/CRM software.
4. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
5. Ability to build strong relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders
6. Sound experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
7. Basic knowledge of distribution and logistics concepts.
