Job Brief
The Physical Analytical Engineer (AM) will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment in physical laboratory. Play a critical role in our organization by actively participating in R&D projects. This position supports driving business growth through innovative solutions, timely customer issue resolution, and comprehensive material decomposition analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Lab Operation: Manage and understand all laboratory equipment, maintain its good operating condition, and complete testing tasks timely.
Method Development and Improvement: Develop and enhance analytical and characterization methods to meet the evolving needs of R&D activities and business growth. Stay informed about the latest advancements in analytical techniques and proactively share technological and methodological innovations.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with global analytical, technology, R&D, and procurement teams to resolve customer issues and qualify sourcing options. Ensure timely outsourcing of services to bridge capability gaps and achieve cost savings.
Innovation Participation: Actively engage in R&D innovation activities and establish effective characterization methods to safeguard the rapid advancement of R&D initiatives.
Compliance and Quality: Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements. Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) protocols. Foster a healthy 5S environment in laboratory management.
Requirements
Educational Background: Master’s degree or higher in Material Science, Polymer Science, or a related field. Candidates with a strong background in analytical technology, synthesis, or refrigerant knowledge are preferred.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in FT-IR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), Thermal Analysis (DSC, TGA), and Rheological Analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation abilities. Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated capacity for rapid learning and effective problem-solving. Ability to perform under pressure, with a self-motivated attitude and a strong focus on teamwork, customer satisfaction, and results.
