Network:
The team needs to provide alert monitoring, reporting, and managing vendor/carrier tickets (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, China Telecom, China Unicom) and any others as required, incident resolution and problem management, coordinate vendor dispatch, change execution, and other tasks above and beyond L1/L2 functions including escalations to L3.
Products:
Familiar with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS, IOS-XR products/system operation and command.
Layer3 technology : Static routing, BGP, OSPF, VRF, BFD, route-map, ACL, AAA.
Layer2 technology: port-channel, vpc, mlag, stp/rstp/pvst/mstp, HSRP/VRRP, dot1x authentication, port security, BPDU Guard, BUPD loop.
Others:
ARP/DHCP protocol, troubleshooting skills, typical Network Architecture(Tier 3/Spine&Leaf).
Firewalls Operating Principle and deployment mode.
Monitoring : SNMPv2/SNMPv3 protocol, syslog, network monitor KPI
Read&Write, able to communicate in oral English.
Network L1/L2 Skills Required: (2+ years’ experience)
Ready to work in a 16x7 environment.
Experience working with support ticketing and tracking systems.
Experience with enterprise scale monitoring applications.
Familiar with ITIL processes and concepts.
Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Telecom Service providers
Basic network routing, switching and associated troubleshooting skills and certifications.
Experience on reading and decoding packet captures.
Knowledge of the network management applications:
Spectrum, Thousand Eyes, Syslog, Extra Hop, Corvil, Splunk, Sevone, HPNA and Cisco ISECertification of CCIE or CCNP, and/or Juniper certification JNCIE or NCIP
Familiar with NICE voice recording platform.
Familiar with standard voice platforms: Cisco UCSC, Expressway, ISR4K, CUCM/CUC/UCCX
Familiar with trading voice platforms: BT / IPC
Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills for dealing with and resolving
Incidents.
Strong communication skills, preferably customer service experience.
Fluent in Chinese both written and verbal.
Able to read English documents and write in English.
